Emerge delivered critical infrastructure upgrades at Scarborough Hospital, working within a live healthcare environment where continuity of essential services was a key consideration throughout the works.
The project brought together HV infrastructure, new and existing substations, standby generation, utility modifications and associated civil engineering works within a coordinated programme.

The project incorporated electrical infrastructure alongside the supporting utility and civil engineering works required across the site.

Working within an operational hospital required the project to be carefully coordinated around existing infrastructure and essential services.
The works involved both new infrastructure and upgrades to existing systems, requiring sequencing across the different elements of the programme while maintaining consideration for continuity throughout delivery.
Emerge coordinated the associated civil, utility and electrical infrastructure works as part of the wider project, providing a joined-up approach across the programme.
